In the Santa Clarita Valley, Max Homa attended Valencia High School. He graduated in 2009 as a four-time first-team All-Foothill League selection and the 2009 Foothill League MVP.
Since turning professional, he has competed in a number of major tournaments, including the Masters, the U. Open, the PGA Championship, and others. He then received a scholarship to play college golf at the University of California, Berkeley.
Max has been married to Lacey Croom since 2019, they do not yet have children, and they currently live in Arizona with their dog.
